GRENACHE RosE
2025, Barossa
Tasting Notes
This Rosé is a beautifully expressive wine, shimmering in the glass with a pale salmon pink hue. Aromas of ripe strawberries, confectionery and delicate musk sticks rise from the glass, layered with floral notes of orange blossom and star jasmine that hint at a fragrant garden in spring. On the palate, it is equally captivating—light yet flavourful, with a graceful balance of sweet floral and candy-like notes. A vibrant acidity keeps the wine refreshing, while the flavours linger with lovely persistence. Made to be enjoyed young, this Rosé is a perfect match for a Thai green mango salad or warm alfresco evenings.

VINTAGE SUMMARY
The 2025 Barossa vintage was shaped by ongoing drought and record-low rainfall, resulting in an exceptionally early growing season and harvest. Early warmth prompted budburst, but severe frosts in September caused widespread crop loss. Many vines recovered, and the warm, dry conditions that followed produced small, concentrated berries. Despite lower yields in frost-affected sites, overall crop levels reached 80–90% of the average. Grenache and Shiraz stood out for their quality, confirming 2025 as a vintage of resilience, producing exceptional wines. Early picking helped preserve natural acidity in white varieties.
