A favourite saying of The Boy’s is to ‘Risk it for the biscuit’, and when he stumbled upon a spectacular parcel of Barossa Valley Semillon, the reward to hero an oft-maligned varietal was a risk worth taking.


Bright, crisp and zesty, with notes of lemon curd, orange blossom and shortbread. Think lemonade icy pole with a creamy mouthfeel.

Best enjoyed with Japanese cuisine. Okonomiyaki is one of The Boy's favourite Japanese dishes!


2022 saw a cooler-than-average growing season that led to extended ripening conditions and retention of natural acidity. As a result, patience was required to wait for optimum harvest dates ensuring full flavour development and acid balance was reached. Patience was rewarded with outstanding flavours and varietal definition with exceptional quality across all white varietals.


The fruit is sourced from over 100-year-old vines in the Southern Barossa. A portion of this Semillon was fermented in French hogshead barrels, resulting in a balance of oak richness and fruit freshness whilst retaining its lively characters.
